✈DC kite festival + national air and space museum

where we had lunch, the old post office pavillion on 12th street

we went to the kite festival
it was supposed to be yesterday but because of bad weather, the organizers postponed it to today
masya Allah susahnya nak dapat parking 
we left home a little after 12
nak dekat pukul dua baru dapat parking
penat mommy pusing² downtown DC
bila dah dapat parking, mommy had to ask daddy to park the car because mommy`s not the world`s greatest parallel parker
nasib baik parking dekat dgn mall
we didn`t even know it was a mall, it looked like an office building
lebih kurang la tu, it used to be a post office
after makan² at the post office mall, we headed for the kite festival
the temperature was in the 50s, not that bad
but because it was so windy, very the sejukkkkk!!
haarith was so cold, we had to put him in the stroller and covered him with a blanket
tak malu duduk dalam stroller adik dia
nasib baik qayyum didn`t mind the cold
mommy and daddy took turns carrying him sebab dia mengada² tak nak jalan sendiri
even though dia tak montel, dia still berat tau.....sakit pinggang la jugak
kesian daddy, dia tau mommy tak larat, he carried qayyum most of the time
it was getting so cold, we took refuge at the national air and space museum
haarith loved it!! 
astronaut wannabe la katakan.....insya Allah
before heading home, we had dinner at penang
selalu makan ikan, kali ni makan mee pulak
as usual, the food was fab

❏bila tak ada sled, box pun jadi la

orang lain semua beli sleds long before winter
mommy and daddy ni bila besok nak snow baru terhegeh² nak cari sled
we went to wal-mart, target, dick`s sporting goods, bj`s.....semua sold out
daddy came up with a brilliant idea 
apa kata kita guna box je?
what the hey, let`s just give it a try
went to the lake, daddy jumpa kotak kat tempat buang sampah
let`s go "box"sledding, everyone!!

✒off to see the good doctor
|

qayyum turned 15 months on feb. 3
patutnya jumpa doctor masa tu but we thought we would still be in malaysia
so mommy scheduled an appointment at a later date
even though tak balik malaysia, mommy malas nak reschedule to feb. 3
qayyum weighed a mere 20 lbs 10 oz (less than 9.4 kg), kepala je besar 19.5"
his height increased by 2.5" to 31"
tak sempat ambik gambar qayyum after his shots, melalak la apa lagi
mommy was trying to comfort qayyum, while daddy and haarith were in the playroom
next visit is haarith in june
